A Healthier YOU Class – Harker Heights

Developed by Stanford University, this program provides education on how to manage chronic conditions such as Diabetes, Arthritis, Hypertension, Heart Disease etc. Master the tools to make living with chronic pain more manageable. Classes are held once a week for 6 weeks as we teach you ways to become a Healthier YOU!
Class is held at the Harker Heights Recreation Center, 307 Miller’s Crossing in Harker Heights, Texas, 76548.

- Taking care of YOU!
- Stress reduction
- Communication with family and friends
- Mastering difficult decisions
- When to embrace change

- Friday, January 14 at 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Friday, January 21 at 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Friday, February 4 at 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Friday, February 18 at 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Friday, March 4 at 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Friday, March 11 at 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

After class wraps up, join us at our monthly A Healthier You Support Group. We’ll meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., at the CTCOG building located at 2180 North Main Street in Belton, Texas. We’ll walk or join in another form of light exercise for 10-20 minutes, then we’ll discuss our current struggles and triumphs in managing chronic health conditions. Preference is given to those who have attended A Healthier You classes, but our group is open to anyone ages 18 and up.
