Jennifer Smith
Born and raised in southeast Texas, Jennifer married RC in 1968 and moved to central Texas. They have two sons, two daughters-in-law, six grandchildren, and two fur babies. She received her bachelor’s degree from UMHB and her master’s degree in education from Tarleton.
Jennifer taught special education for 34 years before retiring in 2016. She enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping with her family. She belongs to the First United Methodist Church in Gatesville.
“I benefited so much from the classes I took through the Area Agency on Aging that I decided I wanted to share this knowledge with others. I took the training and now enjoy co-leading these classes. With every class, I continue to learn and grow.”
